Design Statement

I would describe my design style as unapolligetically feminine. Focusing on elegant and refined silhouettes that compliment the female body as well as feminine motifs such as floral patterns, bows, and pearls. I strive to empower the women who wear my designs. I want my clothes to remind them that femininity can represent strength, intelligence, and confidence. I draw inspiration from designers such as Daniel Roseberry for Schiaparelli, as well as brands like For Love and Lemons, Miu Miu, and Dior.

About Me

Hi! My name is Laura Parker and I am currently in school at Auburn University and will graduate in the Fall of 2025 with a degree in Apparel Design and Product Management.

I grew up in a small town right outside of Huntsville, AL and moved to Auburn to pursue my degree in Fashion Design. Growing up in a small town in Alabama, I never knew of all the possibilities of working in the fashion industry but I knew I had a passion clothes and the world of fashion. In 2018 I attended New York Fashion Week with my best friend who happened to be a model at the time and it opened me up to a world I knew I wanted to be a part of.
